I have experience of over 25 years, largely in Recruitment Consulting. Leading the Executive Search practice at Quadrangle, I have worked on CXO positions with organisations across consumer internet and service industries, with more recent experience in the social sector. I have successfully closed many leadership positions for my clients that include several start-ups. My focus is on detailed assessments of candidates to get the right organisation culture fit.
I am an Economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University (1986) and went to business school at IIM, Ahmedabad (1987-89). My career after IIM began in FMCG at Nestle India, where I handled diverse responsibilities in marketing, brand management, sales, and distribution. Alongside, I was Visiting Faculty at IMT Ghaziabad for a course on Written Analysis & Communication (1992) and at IMS Mumbai to train college students on Group Discussions and Interviews. ‘Tackling Group Discussions’ was a book that I co-authored, for MBA and job aspirants (HarperCollins India 1998).
I am on the advisory council of India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS), a non-profit that is developing leadership talent in the social sector. I have also been an advisor to Project Udhyam that is helping build rural entrepreneurship in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
I am a certified Life and Career Coach (Nov 2018- Erickson International ACSTH Certified). The ICF accredited training through Erickson International (www.erickson.edu) has provided me with a Solution focused approach to Coaching. I believe in supporting my clients through their journey of exploring various perspectives, and eventually finding their own solutions to the different challenges they face in life.
