I have experience of over 25 years, largely in Recruitment Consulting. Leading the Executive Search practice at Quadrangle, I have worked on CXO positions with organisations across consumer internet and service industries, with more recent experience in the social sector. I have successfully closed many leadership positions for my clients that include several start-ups. My focus is on detailed assessments of candidates to get the right organisation culture fit.
I am an Economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University (1986) and went to business school at IIM, Ahmedabad (1987-89). My career after IIM began in FMCG at Nestle India, where I handled diverse responsibilities in marketing, brand management, sales, and distribution. Alongside, I was Visiting Faculty at IMT Ghaziabad for a course on Written Analysis & Communication (1992) and at IMS Mumbai to train college students on Group Discussions and Interviews. ‘Tackling Group Discussions’ was a book that I co-authored, for MBA and job aspirants (HarperCollins India 1998).
I am on the advisory council of India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS), a non-profit that is developing leadership talent in the social sector. I have also been an advisor to Project Udhyam that is helping build rural entrepreneurship in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
I am a certified Life and Career Coach (Nov 2018- Erickson International ACSTH Certified). The ICF accredited training through Erickson International (www.erickson.edu) has provided me with a Solution focused approach to Coaching. I believe in supporting my clients through their journey of exploring various perspectives, and eventually finding their own solutions to the different challenges they face in life. What drives me is my mission to make them experience a positive transformation.
